The perforated paper floral needle case is worked on 14 mesh perforated paper. It is stitched in cross-stitch and also uses size 11/0 seed beads for the flowers. The inside of the case is made from inter-laced satin ribbons. The needle case measure 3 x 3 inches.

Perforated Paper Needle Case "It's Magic"

The perforated paper "Its Magic" needle case is worked on 14 mesh perforated paper. The basket is worked in cross-stitch. The flowers are worked in size 11/0 seed beads. This design is based on the antique magic wallet. The ribbons inside the needle case magically flip an inserted item from under the straight ribbons to appear under the crossed ribbons. This needle case measures 2 ¼ x 3 ½ inches.

The "Kitty" needle case is worked entirely out of 14 mesh perforated paper. It is stitched in cross-stitch with embroidery floss and uses size 11/0 seed beads for the "Kitty". This design has raised perforated paper borders. The needle case measures 2 ½ x 3 ¼ inches.

The mermaid and the geometric humbug needle grabbers are worked in Peyote stitch with Delica® beads. There is a magnet inside to grab the needle. The humbugs are 1 ¼ inches plus fringe.

The "English Cottage" needle case is worked in bead embroidery on Ultrasuede® using 11/0 seed beads and glass flowers. The needle case has a scissors holder on the back. The needle case measures 3 x 3 ½ inches.

My latest bead embroidery design is a little chair needle case. The design is adapted from an antique needle case in my collection. It is 4" high and made out of Ultrasuede® with a bead embroidered design with rice pearls. The back of the chair opens and has a place to store needles.

"Witch/Black Cat Etui"

The etui is worked in bead embroidery with size 11/0 seed beads, on an Ultrasuede backing. There is a witch face on one side and a black cat face on the other side. The features are raised and shaped with extra layers of felt under the Ultrasuede. The teeth are pearls. The etui measures 6 1/2 x 4 1/2". I hand made the sterling silver wire hinge. The etui is lined in black Ultrasuede with black silk ribbon rushing. The etui is filled with my collection of rare antique witch sewing tools.
